Absolutely nothing is expected of you. You are honoring us
and you are honoring God simply with your presence.
You may be asked to fill out a Visitor's
Card. This gives us information so we can contact you and
thank you for visiting. If you prefer to decline, feel free
to do so.
Worship: The purpose of worship is to praise
God as a family. First we have prayer requests and upcoming
events then a prayer. We will then sing songs of praise to
God. We sing our music to God cappella without the
accompaniment of instruments.
After a few songs we observe the Lord's Supper.
We participate in the memorial every Sunday because of the
examples set by the first century church and teachings from the
bible. Plates of unleavened bread will be distributed which
symbolizes the sacrificed body of Jesus. Each person who is
a member of His body will partake in the emblem.
Next trays of "wine" (grape juice) will be
distributed. This represents the blood which Jesus shed on
the Cross. This memorial focuses on the death, burial, and
the resurrection of Jesus and reminds us of the love God shows
each of us.
Immediately following the Lord's Supper an
opportunity is presented for the members of the church to
contribute financially.
Guests are not
expected to make a contribution.
Then we have a sermon from God's Word...
Following the sermon, an invitation will be given. This is an opportunity for people to respond with
prayer requests, to confess sins, or to become a Christian by
expressing their belief in Christ and being baptized for the
forgiveness of their sins.
It is our hope and prayer that you enjoy the
assembly and that the worship is uplifting and inspirational to
you.
